Any corrective action that is created by a trigger can also be automatically assigned to a specific user with the "auto-assign" feature. Auto-assign uses Hierarchy-Based Access Control (HBAC) to assign corrective actions to limited users who are already linked to a specific store or location. When a trigger is set to auto-assign, the corrective action does not need a user's email address to be inputted in order to be assigned; rather, it uses the user's information linked in HBAC.
You also will need to specify a completion window for the corrective action when using the auto-assign feature. This is the number of days the assignee will have to complete the corrective action. The module will round to the day, so the assignee will have the whole 24-hour period on the last day to complete the corrective action. Once the corrective action is outside of the completion window, its status will change to "overdue".
If you do not have HBAC enabled, or need to update your hierarchies or user list, please reach out to your Hazel Account Manager.
