Corrective Action: A corrective action is action taken to rectify a violation cited in a health inspection. Corrective actions are assigned to members of your team, and correspond to an individual violation in the Inspection Details page. Once completed, corrective actions live on the Inspection Details page as a permanent documentation of how a violation was addressed.
Trigger: A trigger is a mechanism to automate the creation of corrective actions. Triggers specify the criteria for which a corrective action should be created, based on thresholds such as the number of critical violations, total violations, or Hazel Score. Triggers can only be created and edited by full users.
Hierarchy-Based Access Control (HBAC): HBAC allows a FSI user to have a restricted view of a brand's dashboard. The custom hierarchies that a brand has set up are used to limit the view of a user by associating their account with one or more nodes in the hierarchy. HBAC is not a requirement to utilize the Corrective Action Management (CAM) module, but having HBAC set up allows for the complete automation of corrective actions and eliminates the need for full users to manually create and assign corrective actions. HBAC is highly recommended to optimize your experience in CAM.
Full Users: These are the only users allowed to assign corrective actions. They're also the only users allowed to automate the creation of corrective actions using triggers in the "Triggers" sub-tab. These users also have full access to the "Metrics" and "Corrective Actions" sub-tabs.
Limited Users: These users have access to the "Metrics" and "Corrective Actions" sub-tab, but do not have access to the "Triggers" sub-tab. Additionally, the "Corrective Actions" sub-tab for a limited user will only contain corrective actions that are assigned to them or corrective actions that are associated with a facility lower than them in the hierarchy.
Guest Users: These users are only granted access to the "Corrective Actions" sub-tab where they can view and complete the corrective actions that have been assigned to them. Guest users do not need an FSI account, so, upon being assigned a corrective action, they will be granted temporary access to FSI via an email that verifies their identity.
