Hierarchy Based Access Control (HBAC) allows a FSI user account to have a restricted view of that user's brand dashboard. The custom hierarchies that a brand has set up are used to limit the view of a user by associating their account with one or more nodes in the hierarchy.
For example, if a brand has a hierarchy setup that separates facilities by corporate-owned and franchised facilities, a user account could be associated with the franchised node, and they would only see inspections and facilities associated with the franchised node in the custom hierarchy.
The main use case for HBAC is to provide specifically scoped access to regional or area managers, so they can view their stores' performances without seeing information for the whole brand.
Note: You must be an admin user to configure HBAC. Admin users are typically Hazel Analytics staff or strategic partner staff, not users from direct customers. If you wish to have HBAC configured for your account, please contact support@hazelanalytics.com.
HBAC also supersedes any email configurations that have been set up.
